Asamoah Gyan debunks $5000 for Black Stars reports,
Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan has debunlked reports that he promised to give $5000 for a win over Rwanda in Ghana?s final Afcon 2017 qualifier on Saturday.
The Black Stars preparations towards the final group clash with the Amavubi was rocked by financial challenges with the Sports Minister insisting the country had no money to buy tickets for foreign-based players to travel for the game.
This development compelled deputy captain Andre Ayew to pay for the tickets of seven of the players to fly for the game.
Reports also emerged the skipper of the team who was in the UAE for a new contract with Al Ahli had promised each player $5000 for a win over the Amavubi.
