Swansea City record signing Borja Baston is in line to make his Premier League debut against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon

Swansea City record signing Borja Baston is in line to make his Premier League debut against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon after returning to full fitness following his move from Atletico Madrid.

?Reported in the Express, the 15.5m man?who arrived in South Wales last month after completing the switch to the Liberty Stadium is looking to replicate the goalscoring exploits of Spanish compatriot Michu.

Baston missed the Swans' opening Premier League fixtures against the likes of Burnley, Hull City and champions Leicester however appears set to make his bow for the club as Francesco Guidolin prepares to welcome fellow Italian Antonio Conte and his Chelsea side who have a 100% record so far this season.

Having scored 18 goals on loan at Eibar last season, the 24-year-old has missed the early stages of the campaign after being ruled out with a thigh injury but will be looking to fire the Welsh side to their first win since the opening day of the season at the Liberty on Sunday.

Followinga month on the sidelines since arriving in the Premier League, Baston is hoping to emulate former Swansea striker Michu's impressive start to life in England after he too moved from Spain.

Netting six times in his opening eight games in the top flight of English football, Michu went onto finish the season with 17 goals as Swansea achieved a ninth placed finish whilst winning silverware as they defeated Bradford City comprehensively to claim the League Cup.

?My aim is to get started when I have the chance to play and score goals. I know Spanish players like Michu have done well with Swansea, I hope I can do the same," stated the Swans' most expensive player.
