Ruben Loftus-Cheek has revealed he looked up to Frank Lampard while coming through the ranks at Chelsea.
Despite playing in midfield, Lampard is the all-time leading goalscorer in the Blues? history, having struck 211 times in all competitions.
And as a central midfielder with an eye for goal himself, Loftus-Cheek has admitted that he looked to the West Ham academy product for guidance and inspiration.
?Growing up in the youth team, the player I looked up to most was Frank Lampard,? he said.
