Neymar Performs Generous Fan Act at Sporting Gijon to Uphold Barca Tradition

Brazilian forward Neymar maintained Barcelona's 'More Than A club' tradition when he performed a true act of generosity after his side's game on Saturday.

The Catalans�travelled to Sporting Gijon and led 2-0 at the break before Luis Enrique's side scored three goals in the final ten minutes to round off a resounding victory.

     Following the result, Neymar began to shake hands with his opponents before removing his shirt and running towards a section of the home crowd. He then handed his match shirt to a young disabled Sporting Gijon fan who was overjoyed by the Brazilian's act of kindness.

It was not the first act of kindness by the Brazilian forward, although some of his previous good deeds have beenpunished,�after he was fined �8,000 for signing a fan's shoe during a game.

Barcelona enjoyed a positive end to the week following dropped points on Wednesday night to Atletico Madrid in the Camp Nou.�In contrast�their title rivals Real Madrid, following a 100% start to the campaign, have now drawn two games in a row after coming from behind to draw at home to Villarreal before a late equaliser saw them again drop points at Las Palmas on Saturday night.

Neymar himself is coming off the back of a successful�summer which saw him win gold at the Olympics in his home country after they defeated the Germans on penalties in Rio De Janeiro.
