Mesut Ozil Hails Impact of Arsenal New Boys Mustafi and Xhaka as Gunners Hammer Chelsea
Mesut Ozil says he has been impressed by how quickly Arsenal summer signings Shkodran Mustafi and Granit Xhaka have adapted to the Premier League.
Mustafi and Xhaka have been impressive since arriving from Valencia and Borussia Monchengladbach respectively, with the duo garnering further acclaim for their efforts in the 3-0 victory over Chelsea on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger's transfer business in the summer looks to be paying dividends and Ozil has explained that the influx of new talent has lifted Arsenal's spirits.

Ozil started the season slowly after his exertions with Germany at Euro 2016 in the summer but was outstanding against Chelsea, scoring his side's third goal and delighting the crowd with his trademark range of passing and footwork.

Speaking after the match, Ozil said the performance had proved Arsenal's doubters wrong by playing quick, adventurous attacking football to which the Chelsea defence crumbled.
"Many so-called experts had already written us off after the second matchday," Ozil told Goal. "But a Premier League season is long and we're currently improving from game to game.
"In the first half we played exactly the kind of football we want to play -- quick combinations so that our opponents didn't even get the chance to tackle."
